Quebec’s Sector-Based
Industrial Research Clusters (RSRI)
The Offer From Quebec’s RSRI
The mission behind the Sector-Based Industrial Research Clusters (RSRI) is to create and sustain a collaborative innovation ecosystem that drives the development of Quebec’s strategic economic sectors for the benefit of research centres, companies, and Quebec society as a whole. Serving as representatives of Quebec’s key industries, RSRIs are uniquely positioned to strengthen the province’s economic fabric while fuelling its growth. The Government of Quebec has designated these nine (9) clusters to serve as intermediaries and funding agencies for collaborative research and development (R&D) initiatives.
As catalysts of innovation, they accelerate the transfer of knowledge and the adoption of technologies by companies across various strategic sectors while forging lasting bonds between research and industry.
